The Om Namah Shivaya Empowerment taps into the energy of the Om Namah Shivaya mantra, which is one of the most popular and powerful of all the mantras in the yogic tradition.

Om Namah Shivaya means “I bow to Shiva, a God of the Hindu tradition – that part of God that is the “destroyer” who makes way for rebirth after death.

Shiva represents the inner self which remains intact even as all else falls away. Thus the mantra also means “I honor the supreme consciousness that resides within me” or more simply “I honor the self”.

Chanting this mantra can be healing and uplifting. It connects up with our souls and Higher Selves, and allows us to experience God in our daily lives. It cleanses the aura and the chakras.

When used traditionally, the mantra can be sung out loud, chanting or repeated in the mind. It can be played as background music while you are working at your computer. It can be used for self-healing or in a Reiki session.
